The Secret Meadow

"For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth." — Song of Solomon 2:11
Eli looked out the window. The garden was covered in a deep, white blanket of snow.

"Dad, did the plants freeze?" Eli asked. "Is the garden broken?"

His Dad smiled and led him to the kitchen window. There, on a small tray, was a patch of bright green sprouts.

"The big garden is just resting, Eli," Dad said. "But look! Even in the winter, God's seeds are ready to wake up. These are our 'Hope Sprouts.' They remind us that the Spring is always coming back. Life is just hiding for a little while."

The Long Nap

In the Winter, the earth takes a long, deep nap. We call this **Rest**. God made the world to rest so it can be strong for the next year. But even though we can't see the big plants growing, God is still working under the snow, keeping the roots safe and warm.

The Big Truth Winter is a season of Hope. We wait with a smile because we know God always keeps His promises!

Windowsill Wonders

We can grow a tiny "Secret Meadow" right inside our house! We use small trays and tiny seeds to grow microgreens. They grow so fast that you can see them change every single day. They are like a green high-five from the garden!

The Taste of Tomorrow

When we eat our indoor sprouts, we are tasting the beginning of the next garden. We are thankful for the warm house, the happy seeds, and the faithful God who never stops caring for His world. Winter is just the "Quiet Part" of the garden story.
