The Sower's Field β’ Winter Foundations β’ Unit 2 Reader
The Story of the Year
"I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old."
β Psalm 77:11
Eli and Mara sat by the warm fireplace. Outside, the wind was whistling, but inside, they were looking at their garden journals.
"Do you remember the Giant Potato?" Eli laughed. "It was as big as my head!"
"I remember when the zucchini was so thirsty it looked like a wet noodle," Mara said. "And we gave it a drink, and it stood back up like a soldier!"
Mom brought them two mugs of warm cocoa. "The garden is a book, children. Every season is a new chapter. And God is the Author who makes the story beautiful."
Four Chapters of Grace
Every year, the Sower walks through four different stories. God made the seasons so we could learn new things in every one of them!

The Big Truth
A garden is a journey. We look back at what God did so we can look forward to what He will do next!
The Master's Memory
Why do we remember the garden? Because remembering helps us have Faith. When we see the snow, we remember the seeds. When we see the dirt, we remember the flowers. We know that God is always working, even when we are quiet. You are a Wise Storyteller now!
Ready for Next Year
The garden is sleeping, but the Sower is dreaming. What will we plant next Spring? What new miracles will we see? The story never really endsβit just starts a new chapter. Thank You, God, for the Year of the Garden!
