Instructions for the Scribe: Continue this pattern until you reach 100. Practice identifying shapes and counting vertices. Accuracy is your Honor.

Appendix D: The Scribe's Tiling Project

Use this page to practice "Tessellation"—the art of fitting shapes together with no gaps.

Step 1: The Square Grid. Draw a row of four squares side-by-side. Make sure their walls touch perfectly. Is there a gap?

Step 2: The Triangle Dance. Draw two triangles that share one side to form a Rhombus. Label the shared side "Unity".

Step 3: The Hive Pattern. Try to draw three Hexagons that meet at a single point in the center. Notice how they share walls!

Step 4: The Imposter Check. Draw a shape that has 4 straight sides but is NOT a polygon. (Hint: Make it 'open'!).

Appendix B: The Master's Final Audit

Check the boxes only when you have mastered the skill.

Certified by the Mentor

Appendix C: The Litany of the Shape

Recite this to close the unit.

Mentor: Scribe, what is a polygon?

Student: A sealed room of straight truth.

Mentor: Why do we bundle the corners?

Student: To find unity and protect the interior.

Mentor: What shape holds the most strength?

Student: The Triangle. The Threefold Cord.

Mentor: Go now, and build rooms of peace.

Student: Amen. Square in Honesty, Hexagonal in Communion.
